Q & A

Time to answer some of your questions!

Q: How long did it take you to get up and running?
A: To be honest I feel I am still working on that. Like any other profession you have to apply for jobs and have interviews and such. I do feel I am doing well now after just a few weeks.

Q: Do you have any recommendations for good companies to work for?
A: I do have some. I love my new company USI. That being said when I first went to answer this question I realized it was A LOT of information. I will be doing an entire post on that in the next few days.

Q: Is there professional support?
A: Definitely! Obviously there aren't support meetings in your local town but there is support. Most companies you work for will provide a help desk number. Also, there are support boards on the internet that will help you. On my post about companies I will post their information to help you research a company before you apply.

Q: Do I get turned on by calls?
A:  Shot answer is sometimes. In this line of work there are going to be calls that hit your button and get you all kinds of excited and then there will be calls that you have to bite your tongue to make it through.

Q: Do you actually play with your self on calls?
A: See above answer.

Q: Does your family and friends know about your job?
A: Some. Of course my husband knows. I would not of started this job without him knowing. I have told my mom and my best friend. I am not embarrassed by job but we do live in a society where sex workers are looked down upon.

Q: Would you consider other sex work jobs?
A: Depends. Since I have started this I have also started on a web cam site which I never thought I would do. I have also started to sell some pictures (may be adding a page on here to buy them). I would not escort or prostitute ever but that is just not my thing.

Q: Has this job changed your view on sex workers?
A: Obviously! I would of never though bad about phone actress but was leerie of cam girls. I for sure didn't think well or escorts and prostitutes but now that has changed. The rest of the world may think sex workers do it for easy money but it is far from easy! It takes a lot mentally and physically.

Q: Why do most women do it?
A:  That answers varies for each woman but some of the main reasons stay the same. A lot of phone actress are stay at home or single moms. They can work while the kids are at school or sleeping and still be able to spend time with the kids when they want/need too. Some women do it as a second job because the money is needed. I know of a few PSO who started it as a second job and made it their only job. College students make up a great deal of the PSO population so they can focus on school but still have money.

Q:  Can you make a living as a PSO?
A: It is possible but I would not recommend any woman go in it planning to survive off of it. Phone sex has been hot by the recession too. Also, it takes time to build clients and learn what works best for you.

Q: Is it hard work?
A: Very! To pick your company you need to do research. Different company allow different things and run off different platforms. Also, you need to research lots of fetishes. I thought I knew and enough and boy was I wrong.

That is all the questions I have gotten so far and would love to answer more for you. There is no question off limits!

Now I have a question for you. I have been asked at one or two of companies to sell certain items (pictures with my face blurred, panties, ect) would you not read my blog if there was a page for that?
